Association of Asia-Pacific News Agencies (OANA) Highlighting that they have received five applications that clearly demonstrate the desire to innovate and lead in the rapidly changing global media landscape, Secretary General Lee Joon-Seung said in a statement, “Anadolu AgencyI heartily congratulate him on his outstanding achievement.”
The official award ceremony will be held at the OANA General Assembly to be held in Tehran, the capital of Iran, on November 23-26.
OANA, which is a member of 44 news agencies from 35 countries in the Asia-Pacific region, was established in 1961 to provide information and experience sharing between institutions.
The association, which started to give the News Agency Quality Excellence Award since 2013, most recently awarded TASS news agency for 2019-2020.
