Küçüksu Pavilion Recreation Area reopened to visitors

90 days of infrastructure and landscaping works carried out in the recreation area affiliated to the Presidency of National Palaces have been completed.

There are 25 wooden arbours suitable for picnics and a cafeteria in the 23 thousand square meter area, which is offered to the benefit of the citizens with its lush garden on the shore of the Bosphorus.

Making a statement to the members of the press, Simizar Aslan Özcan, responsible for the National Palaces Küçüksu Pavilion, said that during the restoration works, a 3,000-meter drainage system was installed in the recreation area, preventing the accumulation of rain water.

Özcan stated that the area remained closed for 3 months and that works are being carried out to ensure that the grass settles and the trees grow again. You can sit inside. We also have arbours with and without awnings. They can sit and spend time as they wish. Equipment that will provide all the comfort of the guests is also available in the area.” said.

Emphasizing that the parking lot, childcare room, prayer room and cafeteria are also present in the area, Özcan continued his words as follows:

“As the Küçüksu Pavilion Administration, we are also responsible for the security of this place. Our guard security officers patrol the area and ensure the security of the area. It has a magnificent view. Apart from what I said, people need to come and live here. There is the Sevda Hill Grove behind us, and the Küçüksu Pavilion right next to us. “You can also improve yourself about our culture. Our visitors can spend all day in this area. It is an incredibly enjoyable space, we welcome everyone.”

“What more could one want in Istanbul?”
