Russian President Vladimir Putin reported that Moscow is ready to sell advanced modern weapons to its allies globally and cooperate to develop military technology.
Putin spoke at the opening of the 8th International Military-Technical Forum called “Armiya”, which started today in the Moscow region and will last until August 21.
Expressing his view that his country is friendly with many allies, partners and like-minded countries in very different continents such as Latin America, Asia and Africa, Putin said, “We provide our allies and partners with the most modern weapons, from small arms to armored vehicles and artillery, from military aviation to unmanned aerial vehicles. We are ready to present it.”
Stating that the weapons produced by Russia were used at least once in real wars, Putin said that the weapons are advanced technology products and expressed his opinion that they are technically and tactically higher quality, modern and advanced than those produced by other defense industry companies abroad.
Putin also opposed Western military commentators’ comments that Russia had failed in its war in Ukraine, claiming that Moscow was approaching its goals as previously planned and envisioned.
“We are approaching step by step to the liberation of the Donbas region,” Putin said. said.
“We are pleased that our country has many allies, partners and like-minded people on different continents. These are states that do not bow before so-called hegemony.” Putin said, “These countries choose a sovereign, independent development path. They want to collectively resolve global and regional security issues, taking into account international law, mutual responsibility and each other’s interests. Thus, they contribute to the preservation of a multipolar world.” he said.
