VIDEO : ‘Nazi’ analogy from Ukrainians to Russians: The city of Olenivka is now the new ‘Auschwitz’

Families of Ukrainian soldiers captured by the Russians in Azostal, Ukraine and killed in a prison in Olenivka last week, likened the Moscow administration to a ‘Nazi’.

The Kyiv and Moscow governments blame each other for the missile attack on a prison in the Russian-controlled Olenivka, which killed about 50 Ukrainian soldiers.

In the demonstrations of the families of the deceased Ukrainian soldiers in the capital, Kiev, the analogy of “Olenivka, the new Auschwitz” drew attention on the banners carried by the activists.

Families of deceased soldiers called on international institutions and societies to take action against Russia’s invasion of Ukraine.

Many demonstrators accused giant organizations such as the United Nations (UN) and the International Committee of the Red Cross for not doing their job. A play was also held at the show, representing the soldiers who died as a result of the missile attack.

UN Secretary General Antonio Guterres announced that he would establish a commission to reveal exactly what happened in the ‘Olenivka attack’, in which dozens of Ukrainian prisoners of war died in the bomb attack at the end of July.
